Cover reveals + a special edition!

Hey all!

I’m juggling two overlapping deadlines at the moment (cue stomach ulcer), so I have to keep this brief… but for anyone who missed my recent announcements on social media, I have two pieces of news to share: the covers for my next book, Wandering Wild, and the special edition of Akarnae that’s releasing in 10 days — just in time for Christmas!

First up, we have the gorgeous AUS/NZ cover for Wandering Wild, with artwork by the phenomenal Anna Kupstova:

Next is the absolutely stunning cover that will be used in the USA/CAN, designed by the amazingly talented Larissa Ezell:

I’m absolutely obsessed with both of these beautiful covers! I love how the AUS/NZ one captures the swoony, romantic vibes, while the USA/CAN one covers the adventure and lost-in-the-wilderness survival vibes. They both compliment each other so well, and I absolutely can’t WAIT to see them in physical form!

I honestly can’t choose which of the above is my favourite, but I’d love to hear from you! Let me know in the poll below!

Jumping across to The Medoran Chronicles now, next year marks a special anniversary for Akarnae — 10 years!! Wowsa!! — and there are going to be some SUPER FUN celebrations when the time comes, but we're also getting in early by re-releasing this gorgeous special edition hardcover as an anniversary edition just in time for Christmas! That's right — it's coming out on Dec 3, making it the perfect gift for you and/or your loved ones!

This edition has all the bells and whistles of the previous version — gold detailing on the front and edges (SO SHINY!), coloured end papers (including a map of Medora and character artwork), a deleted scene from Realia, an author Q&A, and a ribbon bookmark! It's so stunning, and I know many of you were devastated to miss out last time, so I'm thrilled that you'll have a chance to grab a copy now!

BUT! Just a warning that these are ‼️VERY LIMITED‼️ and once they're gone, they won't be printed again.

So best get in quick to avoid missing out! Pre-orders are available now from your favourite local or online bookstore! (Eg. QBD Books , Dymocks, Booktopia, Harry Hartog, and many more!) For people outside of Australia, there are a number of bookstores that offer global shipping — try places like Harry Hartog, Gleebooks, Booktopia (for NZ readers), Readings, and Abbeys, off the top of my head, otherwise there’s also Amazon. (Don’t quote me on any of these — I’m making assumptions based on previous books!)

I’m considering doing an Instagram Live Q&A around the re-release of this Akarnae special edition next month to talk all things The Medoran Chronicles — it just depends on if I’ve survived my deadlines and am human enough to form words.
